You know how we’re dealing with two massive military operations, a financial crisis, a tanking economy, a weak dollar, unemployment, homelessness, poverty, failing public schools, global warming and 47 million without health care? Well, if Republicans had their way, we wouldn’t be talking about these issues. Instead, they’d like to spend taxpayer money to weed out Anti-Americans like Sen. Obama, a man who loathes this country so much he wants to run for office in order to fix it.

What an embarrassment Rep. Bachmann is to her party and country. Thankfully, her dare I say communist tendencies are backfiring- her opponent raised $450,000 in contributions in the 24 hours following Bachmann’s remarks.

While we’re at it, though, I wonder if Republicans will clarify Sarah Palin’s involvement in the Alaska Independence Party (AIP), a local Alaskan party that advocates for secession. Palin and her husband were both members of this party and the Governor even addressed the Party’s 2008 Convention, telling them to “keep up the good work.”Joe Vogel, the party’s founder, had this to say about his hatred for America-

The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. And I won’t be buried under their damn flag. I’ll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home.

Oh Lordy. So, clearly, as an ally, not associate of Vogel and the AIP, Palin must answer for her Anti-Americanism, right? Anyone?
